Very well done blog. My daughter was diagnosed with Stargardt's 20 years ago and is legally blind, so enduring 8 years of the morally self righteous Bush years was very difficult knowing that hope for those with many crippling diseases was being given short shrift. Finally a more enlightened policy offers real hope for my daughter and others who are suffering with conditions that may well be helped by ESC. Thanks for a voice of reason based on science and tolerance.
