Thanks for your comment Carol. I can remember times in my past when I was somewhat jealous of people who had “seemingly” perfect lives…But at some point I realized that that was counter productive and I began to see the blessing within my personal struggles.

What an excellent reminder! Although I’m often jealous of my brother who seems to live in his little cocoon with no drama and no need for serious coping skills, I know that I’ve made it through some “doozies” and am still in the process of “making it through” some. And I have learned a lot about myself in the process. And how strong I am. It sounds like you’ve been in that same place, too. Thanks for writing this.
